It has been a busy start to the year for the entire Fendequip team.
Following on from a bounce back in trade and enquiries in 2022 post the Covid-19 Pandemic, 2023 is looking to be an even bigger and better year for the business in the run up to our 20th anniversary in 2024.
Extra Personnel
Due to the volume of enquiries and orders, we have strengthened our Fender Hook and maxiStow Fender departments with 4 new team members, bringing additional expertise and flexibility to ensure our manufacturing times can be maintained and reduced wherever possible.
Product Development
We continue to strive to become the leading Mooring and Deck Equipment manufacturer for Yachts and Superyachts of all sizes. Over the past 12 months, we have seen significant growth in a number of specialist products including Solid Foam Transom Fenders and Tender Mooring Whips as well as more specialist items, such as our maxiStow Inflatable Hawse Pipe Bungs and Fender Hook Storage Covers.

Infrastructure Upgrades
We are fully committed to producing the best quality Mooring products in the most professional and sustainable way possible. Significant investment has been made in recent years to improve manufacturing efficiency and accuracy, including a new CNC Laser and 3 Axis CNC cutting machine.
Sustainability
In Spring 2023, we will be undertaking a full Solar PV array installation to our manufacturing premises, which is estimated to contribute more than 50% towards our annual electricity demands – which in addition to our 100% recyclable packaging for our popular Fender Cover and Chafe Gear ranges, helps further to reduce our impact on greenhouse emissions from manufacturing to retail sales.
