With greater tensile strength than Hypalon, Polyurethane (PU) fenders are far less likely to tear or break under harsh weather conditions when moored. As well as this when comparing abrasion resistance to Hypalon fenders, Polyurethane fenders are four times stronger in this category as well.
When it comes to temperature resistance, PU also excels in this category as well boasting 70°c greater resistance than any Hypalon fender. And lastly due to its thickness PU fenders are able to deflate to less than 10% of its fully inflated size, for ease of storage and making them far less cumbersome in the process.
Available in grey and black, the maxiStow Polyurethane (PU) range of inflatable fenders are manufactured from the highest quality fabric with a seam peel strength of 28.57 / 5cm when compared to the closest rival Hypalon with a strength of only 4.54 / 5cm, as well as excellent UV resistant properties for both colours ensuring a long and trouble-free life for you and your investment.
All of our PU fenders come with two attachment points as standard – available as either stainless steel D-ring or Soft Loop attachments, with quick and reliable inflation and deflation times using the included D7 valves.
