Fendequip Acrylic Wool fender covers are woven and manufactured in-house, using our own premium stain resistant, non-abrasive, loop-knit acrylic yarn, which is specifically treated for UV and lightfastness.

Certified Lightfastness
As part of our quality control at Fendequip, we also have our products tested each year by Bureau Veritas for UV and Lightfastness. Our Black and Midnight (navy) yarns both have a BS EN ISO-B02:1999 to Std 7, which means is that if a material is left out in sunlight it will start to fade between 7-12 months and for Std 4 this is only 1 month.
Please note: This is an acrylic material and will not be 100% light fast.

A cool hand wash (with a little detergent if desired) will help to keep our acrylic wool fender covers looking their best!*
(We do not recommend this method for any of our other products, including neoprene products and chafe gear. Please contact us if you require further care information for your products.)
* Please note: Acrylic Wool Fender Covers that are not cleaned according to our recommendations above may be result in shrinkage/colour loss and will be ineligible for any refunds should this occur.
