Saturday 17th September 2022, saw some of the Fendequip team and their families come together to take part in a beach clean at Chesil Cove, located on the World Heritage ‘Jurassic Coast’ in Dorset, UK.

Over the course of a couple hours, the team managed an impressive haul of 34kg of waste, including plenty of rope, fishing wire, plastic bottles, cans and fittingly, even a dust pan (no brush though!..)

Special thanks to Dave from Weymouth & Portland Marine Litter Campaign CIC who arranged the morning and supplied all of the necessary equipment – see their website for more information on their valuable efforts in reducing litter along this popular part of the iconic, Jurassic Coastline.

Great British Beach Clean Week

Our event also coincided with the #GreatBritishBeachClean which is running between the 16th – 25th September 2022 and is organised by the Marine Conservation Society – the UK charity fighting for cleaner, healthier oceans.
